Positiv Skateboards’ Andy Macdonald and Sandro Dias finished the 2011 contest season in high fashion with Sandro landing a 900 and Andy taking the team win at the first Sega Generations of Skate contest in Venice, CA. The entire show will be televised on Fox Sports Net November 25th, but here’s a preview

Las Vegas, Skateboarding and an endless supply of Mountain Dew for 4 days-that’s a recipe for fun! Although competing for valuable points, Sandro and Andy took some time out for fun in the sun with a little doubles skating. When the event started though, Positiv Skateboards’ Andy Macdonald and Sandro Dias took to the ramp on the pool and blasted their way to a 5th and 10th place finish. In the semi finals, Sandro was one gnar jar away from making the superfinal while Andy skated well, but was subject to some higher scores giver to other competitors. I don’t know what everyone else saw, maybe I’m biased, but I’m just sayin that the scoring system may need to be reviewed. I am open to debate on the subject. Back to the superfinal-it was indeed super and it was between PLG and Shaun White to take the overall win for the season. When it was all said and done, it was PLG taking the win for the contest and season. Congrats to all!

The official results of 2011 Pro World Vert Rankings have come out and Positiv Skateboards Sandro Dias and Andy Macdonald finished on top with Sandro taking the #1 World Ranking with Andy close behind in 2nd.

It’s no mystery why I absolutely love the Dew Tour. All that free syrupy goodness around every corner…it almost brings a tear to my eyes. As a bonus though, they have Skating! Positiv Skateboards Andy Macdonald and Sandro Dias made the trip out to lovely SLC. His giant Gnar Jar was close, but without a complete run Sandro found himself in 4th, just outside of the medals. Positiv Skateboards’ Sandro Dias is in New York for the Tony Hawk Demo taking place at the Quiksilver Pro-The biggest surf contest ever held in New York.

Positiv Skateboards’ Andy Macdonald and Sandro Dias made the finals in the bowl event at the Dew Tour in Portland. When the dust settled, Andy found himself back up on the podium in 3rd after a great last run.

Andy Macdonald had a busy Thursday. He closed down Nasdaq and then did the Mega ramp triple jump in the middle of Times Square.
